The Scalibor antiparasitic collar is indicated to protect your pet against the main parasites, Scalibor has a repellent effect (antialimentation) against the transmitting phlebotomes of canine leishmaniasis. It also protects against fleas and ticks. It has a repellent and protective effect against sand flies, mosquitoes, ticks and fleas.

Description

With Scalibor your dog receives the necessary amount of deltamethrin day after day for 6 months, being the best preventive effect against leishmaniosis. Prevents 4 months against fleas and 6 months against ticks, mosquitoes and sandflies. Thanks to the active substance of which it is composed; Deltamethrin, which is released on a regular basis throughout the first week. It is resistant to water although it is not recommended to wet it until at least 2 days after its first use, thus leaving time for the deltamethrin to be released.

The rapid effect of the Scalibor collar on the sandflies (leishmaniosis), fleas and ticks achieves optimal results against the prevention of parasites.

It develops a repellent effect, so most of the sand flies, ticks or fleas do not get to stay in the animal, thus preventing them from feeding.

It causes nervous symptoms in the parasites and prevents both phlebotomists and fleas and ticks from biting (antifeedant effect).

Instructions for use:

It is recommended to remove the polvillo from the collar with a damp cloth before placing it

Do not use the collar in animals with extensive skin lesions

Do not use in dogs younger than 7 weeks of age

The collar begins to be effective a week after its placement in the dog, it is the time it takes to spread the deltamethrin. To be effective the collar must be continuously placed. It can be wetted with water without losing any effectiveness. But if we bathe the dog, there is some shampoo that affects the lipid layer, it will also be affecting the amount of deltamethrin of the dog and therefore the effect of the collar could be eliminated for a few days, and we would need another 7 days until it was distributed the deltamethrin again through the dog's skin.

Some cases of local allergic reaction have been observed. If this is the case, remove the collar, wait 48 hours and replace it. If the allergic reaction persists, definitely remove the collar and treat your dog with another product
