It is a filter material designed to eliminate the silicic acid and phosphate in aquariums. The silicate (silicic acid SiO2) is one of the major problems that cause the appearance of algae, therefore, this filter material help combat pests algae.
Also effectively absorbed phosphate so prevents the growth of diatoms. You can use both freshwater aquariums and marine aquariums.
Each packet includes 500 grams of filter material which allows us to treat between 200 and 400 liters of water.
