Alta Proteína Psittacus

Indicated to be supplied to individuals of species that in the wild consume a significant amount of fruits or seeds of plants with a low or moderate level of fat (amazonian parrots, cockatoos, eclectus ...), especially during the stages of reproductive inactivity. It is a maintenance feed homologous to that of the Pets Range, with a composition that allows to easily cover the nutritional needs of these periods.

It is also indicated for individuals of consuming species of the high energy diet that for lack of activity tend to get fat.

The daily consumption ranges between 5 and 8% of the weight of the animal. The medium-sized species (for example the blue-fronted Amazon) consume around 20-35 g.

Psittacus is formulated to constitute 100% of the parrot's food. Other foods can be added to the diet (often to provide variety), but the Psittacus feed should not fall below 70-80% of the total. It is not advisable to add any type of vitamin-mineral supplement to those parrots that are basically fed with Psittacus. It is advisable to renew the feed and water daily.
